12th International Conference on Porous Metals and Metallic Foams

The MetFoam conference series is the largest cross-disciplinary, international technical meeting focused exclusively on the production methods, properties, and applications of functional and lightweight porous/cellular metallic materials. The latest event of the series, the 12th International Conference on Porous Metals and Metallic Foams (MetFoam 2023), was held from July 5-7, 2023, on the beautiful premises of the Radisson Blu Park Hotel & Conference Center in Dresden Radebeul, Germany

The MetFoam conference series is kept and overseen by a steering committee composed of international experts. The committee confers regularly and appoints a General Chair for organizing each conference. It has been held in Bremen (1999, 2001) and Berlin (2003), Germany; Kyoto, Japan (2005); Montreal, Canada (2007); Bratislava, Slovakia (2009); Busan, Korea (2011); Raleigh, NC, USA (2013); Barcelona, Spain (2015); Nanjing, China (2017), and Dearborn, MI, USA (2019).
